With Mother's Day around the corner I wanted to recognize all the mothers and all that you are and all that you do. We mothers carry an invisible weight that we cannot describe- and at the same time we radiate a magical love- like rays of sunlight filtering through the shadows and trees making life beautiful. I did this session last year of a dear friend and her family and it was an honor to capture the magic and the love she has poured into her family making them strong and beautiful.

7 Brides for 7 Brothers! That's right- 7 brothers!! This family reunion session was so so fun!! My sister is one of the 7 brides in this family and I loved being able to capture so many beautiful moments. One of my favorites is of the mother surrounded by her 7 sons. The love in this moment was strong and sweet. Their mother even had tears come to her eyes as she felt this precious moment. Can you imagine the amount of time and love and tears and laughter that went into raising these incredible 7 men?! I also love the one of the dad with his 7 sons- being silly and joking around and laughing. At one point I told the brides and their husbands, "Once a bride, always a bride". It's true, isn't it, ladies?! When the wife is treated with the same kindness and dignity she is treated with on her wedding day, then a happy and beautiful marriage will be the result 💗

This spring has already been filling up with a reunion session, a wedding, dance pictures, and a 50th anniversary celebration session with children and grandchildren!! I still have openings for summer and fall sessions. Message if interested.

This mamma asked me to take her family pictures this past September and what a beautiful time we had! It's hard to believe their youngest is two already!! It seems like yesterday we were taking their maternity pictures and then their newborn pictures and now another family session in my favorite location to take families to! Capturing the love and joy of a family has got to be one of the most special things in my life. If you want pictures this spring and summer I have the perfect location! This text message from this family made my day last week!! I just have to say that I feel so honored to do family reunion sessions, especially when they are long time clients who came from out of town to visit their children and grand children!! They wanted a session last year with me but due to job security and covid they weren’t able to go out of state. We really did capture so much magic and joy and it was very very difficult to choose the 10 images I wanted to share with all of you. Fall is my busiest time of year and so if you are wanting a session with me soon, let’s plan a date and location and capture the joy and beauty and silliness and love and magic in your family. 🥰
