Oh, sweet Danae, I knew from the moment your bright smile, cute jean skirt, and bouncy curls walked into my Sunday School classroom, you were special. I knew that one day you'd change your world, I knew that one day you'd steal someone's heart, I knew that one day you'd be the princess of the day, what I didn't know was that was every day.
Every time I see you(still), you are willing to share a smile, every time I see you, you have an encouraging word to share, every time I see you, I know without a doubt, I'll be the one in a better mood because of my conversation with you. You are sunshine on a cloudy and rainy day. You are special.
I'm excited to see you share that smile, your bouncy curls, and your encouraging words with your prince. I know he will appreciate your beauty that comes from within, I know he'll take all the hugs you can dish out, I know God made you especially for him.
Who knows what your next adventure holds, I can't wait be there to see it; and maybe with a camera in tow.

Meet The Solbergs. Josh, Libbi, Olivia, Colton.
Josh and Libbi have been married for forever and a day, and from my perspective are more in love than the day they married.
Josh was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. The morning of our shoot we almost canceled due to a dip in his health, he rallied, and we arrived at the park to begin our shoot.

I didn’t really know what to expect, but as the shoot began I saw pain, love, commitment, contentment, sadness, joy, infatuation, playfulness, and support.

I would take a few shots, and then direct them to a new area, during that time I gave them some space to be a family. They literally did not stop chatting with one another, laughing, sharing secrets, and truly enjoying ones another’s company.

This experience was unlike any other photo session that I’ve done, and I long for more.
I’m thankful to have been given a glimpse into a family and a love that will last for eternity.

One more thing.
Please take The Solbergs to God in prayer, I know that He is able to heal!

This maternity shoot was so special to me.
My cousin, Anna is due to deliver her first baby in just a handful of weeks, amid a virus crisis, lock-downs, and masks, a new life will come into the world.
If you think of her in the next few weeks, would you say a prayer for her, Zach, and baby Rhea, I know they’ll appreciate it.
