My artistic adventure this past month...
A soulful painting for my wonderful coach, client and friend Maggie. Her faith and trust in my creativity has filled me with so much gratitude. As an artist it is the appreciation of my work that feeds my soul and validates all the unending hours of passion and joy I pour into every painting I undertake.
Maggie had a vision for a painting that would transform and revitalize her home by bringing a renewed energy and essence to her space.
She wanted to convey to her family friends and guests what she offered to the world.
She described this with the words; abundance, blessings, welcome, stability, structure, love, friends and family.
My mission then became to create an artistic rendition of these words Creating a composition from words that resonates with both the client and the artist is both terrifying and liberating at the same time.
Here is amalgamation of the words from my artistic lens; the ocean represents abundance, the angel wings are blessings, the tree is the stability and structure (representing her husband), the hands in the middle (Maggie’s real hands) represent a guiding light welcoming guests into her home and the heart represents love and the connections between friends and family.
It was a true honor to have been given an opportunity to create such a soulful piece for someone so special to me.
