I remember thinking is it worth the walk over to this location … what if the lighting isn’t great and I walked this whole group over here for nothing … TOTALLY WORTH IT!

BEST. WEDDING. EVER!!!!

When you record ten hours of a wedding day…ten hours the next day is spent looking through it all the send to the client within 48 hours! So you’ll find me on my phone ALL DAY working! ( I think I’m going to take a Dutch run break soon!)

My daughter was the iPhone videographer for us and she did AMAZING! (I did the video and direction for these…because she was the choreographer and gave counted out the steps!)

Moments of joy…

When I started this company, I didn’t just come up with the name “A Moment of Joy Photography” because of my name. It’s was actually more about the word “moments” I knew that I had a unique way of capturing the moments on a wedding day when others were adjusting their fancy lights and using their grey card to get the lighting perfect…and they were missing the best most important part.

Love this moment between and her sweet mom…I wasn’t close enough to hear her words myself or pick it up on video…but the look on her face says it all. Sound wasn’t needed. ❤️ ❤️❤️

The greatest gift I gave myself and my children was finding something I was good at and that I could make a living at. But not only that…I raised my children as mostly a stay-at-home as essentially a single mom. It certainly helps that I love doing it…can’t imagine having any other job in the world.
