Meanwhile I decide whether or not to keep posting, I’ll leave this video of 070 Shake. Clips I’ve had saved back from the first time I got to see her in 2021 up to early last year. Been my favorite artist since 2017 and I’ve gotten a lot of inspiration from through these years. Not someone you hear on the radio everyday, but sometimes I like it that way. Not gonna lie tho, I do wish more people did know about her, but it’s okay because everytime I’ve gone to a show of hers I get reminded that there are people like me who have been waiting for the day to come and I get to be surrounded by them going bar for bar.
I’ve always had the thought that as an artist of any craft you should always 1. do it because you like it and 2. you create to inspire even if it’s only one person. Remembering the first time I was introduced to the artist 070 Shake- I was in the beginning of my photography journey and my instructor put the music video of the day for inspo and that being one of hers. Although I never got into video(yet), years later Shake’s music videos and music grew on me becoming my favorite artist. I loved seeing and still do like to look back and see/hear how she creates and has always gone the direction of creating the way she wants not worried whether it connects to the previous work out, what’s current, the rush of having to release asap, or if it’ll reach everyone. Since the first time I got to see her, I’ve gotten the chance to meet and connect with so many people at every single show that it’s become some of my favorite memories and also the reason to why I’ve been inspired by her for so long. Being one person on stage yet you can connect with so many people and then they connect with each other - literally out of this world it feels like a safespace. As an artist myself I always had a dream of becoming a tour/ mainly artist photographer to share exactly that vision of how one creates, grows, and connects with strangers. As my camera collection now gets smaller (each camera has gone to 9 beginner photographers) I still carry the dream and hope my art has inspired at least 1 person. Anyways, I’ll be outside for a while.

Birthday 2 days ago and finally 25🥳 but to think that all this happened in one year is still wild to me. Definitely a lot of repeated photos in here, but they just so happened to be some of my favorite memories. Got closer into the classic car scene, getting to see friends grow in their music world, but also met more people in the music world, went to TOO MANY concerts😅, got to meet and learn with one of the first photographers I got inspired by from years ago, got back into studio photography for a sec, got closer with people who kept me inspired with or without a camera(good for the soul), got my bad bunny yhlqmdlg tattoo, oh and my personal favorite- getting to meet, photograph, and have a moment with my favorite artist of ever and ever the one and only ain’t nobody like her .themarias
Maybe I’ll pick up a camera again
