The dancer’s grace, beauty and elegance creates the inspiration for photographs with mood and expression. Dance photography is a collaborative effort with the dancers to create a still photograph that illustrates a single moment from an art of movement. With my wife, a dance instructor and physical therapist, we explore the potential of a body’s movement within a space, pushing the dancer’s boundaries and architecting their sculptural physicality into a defining still photograph.
