You never know, when booking any outdoor Photo Session weeks in advance, what the weather will actually be like on session day.

We had a few scheduling hiccups, and then when the session day arrived.........it was hot and muggy!
Hard enough for anyone who is not pregnant, but for a mommy to be who is a month and change away from her delivery date, it was a bit more miserable.

However, this beautiful young couple were really excited to have their pics done and so easy to work with that it just made our time together so pleasant!

As a Photographer, I've been trying to set professional goals.
Some small, some a bit more lofty!
There is a Photography Magazine, Click Magazine, that I had long subscribed to. It is an international publication.
It is print quarterly, and also online. I love publications that are still in print! I feel photos should be seen that way still.
What I also like about this publication is that is afemale run and operated!
Click Magazine has a program known as Click Pro Elite, a group of select talented and passionate photographers from around the world.
You can apply to be one of their members.
I put it off for a few years, too much self doubt!
To be accepted into this level within Click Pro, you have to submit 150 images, which will then be evaluated by a panel of judges, scored on 7 different photography elements, and need to receive a certain score to then be accepted as a member of their ELITE team.
I mustered up the courage, submitted my images ( which was hard for me to objectively choose which photos I wanted scrutinized!), and then forgot about it.
A few days later, I found the sweetest notification in my emails-
I was accepted!
I earned my CLICK PRO ELITE BADGE !
I'm still learning what the next steps are and can't wait to participate and learn from some of the most incredible Photogs from around the globe!

Always hard to choose, but here are a few favorites from a recent in-home Family /Newborn Session.
Getting 5 year old twins, a 2 year old and a newborn (plus mom and dad and Grandma) to get into sync is not always an easy task but we did it!!

Aren't they the sweetest ,fun, loving young family?!?

I started photographing Mom and Dad , years ago, before they were Mom and Dad!
I was lucky enough to do their Engagement photos many years ago and look at them now!
