Our sweet boy Shorty in his natural habitat. 🏡
As most of you may not know Shorty is the reason for our program. Him and Amber’s daughter are our reason for this goal. Shorty was our horse that ended up in the wrong hands after thoroughly vetting the “new” owner. The new owner was a liar and even used fake identities when she wanted something bad enough. Shorty was left in a Louisiana “holding” pen after being starved for 60 days by his new owner. He was in terrible condition and had no Hope left in his eyes. We found out he was there through Facebook and rescued him immediately. Shorty received the best care possible and was brought back to our farm to never leave again. Shorty now runs our 30 acre field with his pasture friends. He is the eye of our program and we want to help many horses and kids that go through traumas throughout their lives.
