I took a wrong turn today and ended up taking the most magical drive through the Transmountain pass I’ve ever had. The mountains never looked so massive as they did today, seeing their curves highlighted in the leftover Valentine’s Day snow. The fog crept down in quickly, vanishing the mountain tops and embracing the ridges and canyons as I drove up the hill, bringing sprinkling ice cold rain to the rust colored rocks, gently rinsing the snow away. I had to stop to take in the beauty of the moment and try and snap a few pictures. Pictures can never do a moment of beauty in nature justice sadly. All a blessing of a “wrong” turn. 💙
