When I bought my first “real” camera, it was because I wanted to capture the tiny quirks of my first child's personality.

Offering to photograph other families came from seeing the beauty in their relationships, and wanting them to see it too.

I continue this work because it helps families appreciate the love they've built. I'm here for the moms giving their all, needing encouragement and reminders of the beauty in chaos.

My middle little is 5 today! 💛
He surprised us 5 weeks early on April Fools day (+ Easter that year!).
Those two weeks in the NICU - 2 hours from our 19 month old - caused me to lean deeper on the Lord and gave me a new level of gratitude for my children’s lives and health.

Grateful everyday for my little nature-loving, spitfire dude 🦎🪲🪶

My hope for you today is that you play • That you delight in the goodness of life • As your lungs fill with the gift of oxygen, that you are filled with gratitude • That you see humans (including yourself) in the light of the love that it took for the star-breather to come to Earth as a man, suffer, and defeat death for his treasured children.

I am so excited for the wildflowers to start popping up again 🌸🌻🌷

Trading California poppies for daffodils and 🤷🏼‍♀️can’t wait to find out!

For now I’m planning my garden with a whole bed dedicated to flowers 😍 Cosmos, chamomile, sunflowers, borage, zinnias, and more!
