Another milestone has been reached in my eyes. I continued to produce another piece of art past my first success. A lot of trial and error but I found something that I believe tells the story I want and displays the vision I imagined. I love my wife so much ()... she has been so supportive and helpful through every step of the process. From being my main "Muse",[as it has been beautifully put ()], to providing constructive criticism and suggestions along the way.

This photo, along with the previous, belongs to a series of 5-6 images, which the others are still being produced. I will provide the title of the series once it has been completed (suspenseful lol jk). "Stay Away" is open to interpretation and how you may connect with it . However, in it's simplest form, it depicts the urge to run away from something we fear. That fear could be anything to you, a dream, a desire, the truth... it is something we must eventually over come in the end.

Thank you for taking the time to read, and review my piece of art. Please leave a comment down below so we can connect! Follow me on my business account at :) Love you all!

This image means a lot to me, not because my wife is the model but because I jumped so many emotional hurdles to get to this final product. “The Weight of Fear” was a constant battle I faced in my creative journey this far. I made excuse after excuse avoiding content creation due to fears of failure, rejection, and disappointment. I was afraid of releasing content that wasn’t from my heart. I spent a lot of time in reflection, I spent a lot of time searching for inspiration and motivation, and I spent a lot of time asking for help. Finally, after making time for myself, I made an image for me. Where my expression felt real, and a story is being told. I finally took the advice of so many others, and just started. I have so many family, friends, and mentors to thank for this image, because without them who knows how much longer I would have been lost for. I hope to only improve my storytelling through my content. I appreciate all of you joining along for the ride. Please leave a comment below to connect! Thank you so much for reading. “Our greatest fears are often that we will not meet our own expectations. Take that time to get rid of expectations. Go into it thinking there is no such thing as failure, only an experience to learn from.” quote by Brooke Shaden
P.S. a lot of inspiration as been taken from my mentor in the creative world, Brooke Shaden

"In this weeks episode we talk to local creative artist Veronica "Fox" Grijalva .and.tea

There are coloring books, and there are galleries - Desert Gems is the meeting point for both. It is as interactive as a coloring book, allowing anyone to become an artist! Each piece is accompanied by a statement from the original artist, creating depth and personalizing that piece to the creator for what otherwise would simply be a drawing. The idea for the Desert Gems Collaborative Coloring Gallery came from being a part of the art community that exists in El Paso, Tx and Las Cruces, NM."

Raised in both El Paso and Juarez. Storytelling has always been her core of art. Gibel Amador is a Latina filmmaker and poet from the borderland. Filmmaking and photography came naturally to her from so much experience in the industry, but the writing was the missing piece.

Francisco “Paco” Castaneda, El Paso based filmmaker, begun his passion in the arts with the vision of promoting sociocultural change by incorporating mental health issues and criticisms towards the constructs of society into visual storytelling. His films are created with meticulously crafted and thought-provoking subtleties adding depth to the fantastical realism genre.
