Russell came into our care as a stray from Brawley Animal Control in August of last year. Although he weighs 50 pounds, he is quite small and compact. What Russell lacks in height, he definitely makes up for in personality. Our kennel technicians say that Russell is a rambunctious and FULL of life kind of dog! He loves to run and ‘ruff’ house with the other dogs. Russell does very well with other dogs, and he is great with people too. He loves climbing into peoples’ laps as he thinks he’s a lap dog and does not know his own weight or strength. Russell would do well in a home that has other medium to large dogs that match his energy, and he would do well with older kids or teenagers. Russell would make the perfect companion for anyone looking to open their heart and home to a loving and vivacious shelter pup this Valentine’s Day!
