My sister and I wanted to personally come on here and thank each and every one of you for the overwhelming love, support, kind words, messages, and donations we have received during this incredibly difficult time.
We have been logging into our dad’s facebook account and reading all of your comments and stories. Growing up in the desert, we knew how much he loved being out there, taking photos, sharing his adventures, and interacting with all of you. Since moving away, we didn't get to see that part of his life every day, and we truly had no idea just how many lives he had touched or how deeply he was loved by this community.
Reading your messages has brought us comfort and has helped us see our dad through your eyes. We genuinely believe this hobby, this lifestyle, and the friendships he built here gave him purpose, joy, and helped keep him going for as long as it did.
His passing has reminded us how precious and fragile life truly is. Please take the time to tell the people you love how much they mean to you. Hold them close, make the phone call, send the text, and cherish the moments you have together, because tomorrow is never promised.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us see just how much he meant too so many people. We will be forever grateful.
