Loved capturing these little guys tonight! 8U baseball is so fun to watch! As my own boys grow older, I love the reminder of when they were this small. It was such a joy to soak in all the smiles, giggles, mistakes & learning, innocence, and fun of this age. The future of Effingham County baseball is bright!

What a weekend FULL of baseball! ⚾

Now that my own baseball player is getting older, it’s easy to forget just how little they once were when they first started learning the game. I absolutely loved watching and capturing these 8U/9U players and being reminded that this is where the love of baseball begins. Kleyton’s sweet smile at first base was the perfect example of that innocent joy the game brings.

Congratulations to Lincoln, Joey, and the 9U Angels on sweeping their division and going undefeated as Champions! 🏆 And in case anyone was wondering — yes, you absolutely CAN bat and run the bases with your shoes completely untied and still be a champion! 😂
