Four years ago I hit a brick wall with my health…😔
I thought I was doing everything right:
🍓Eating clean
🏋️Working out regularly
📝 Managing my mental health
😴Getting a decent amount of sleep
But…
😳 I always felt off still; constantly irritable, anxious, overwhelmed, and fatigued!
So I gave up…I stopped caring about myself, my health, my body….anything that involved taking care of me, I threw it away. 😭 & then I got pregnant for the 2nd time…🫣 I love my kids more than anything in this world but it probably wasn’t the best timing to have another baby because of the mental stability I was going through by myself cause I couldn’t tell anyone what exactly was happening inside my head without being sent to a psych ward…😣
So fast forward & our sweet little 7lb beautiful baby girl came into the world! 🍼👶
While she started growing up & becoming her sassy rebellious intelligent self…I was spiraling even further down this path of self doubt & emotionally eating… (insert picture on the left.)
I truly believed that this was my “new” normal…40lbs overweight, eating my body weight in french fries, wishing I looked like every other fitness woman out there, & sulking to my husband about how much I hate myself. 😭
It wasn’t until June of this year that I FINALLY said enough is enough…(thank you Mel Robbin’s 🙏).
I HAVE a choice to either stay in this depressed state of mind and potentially go down a path that would make my kids not have their mom anymore OR I choose me, myself, & I as a priority. ☑️
So I joined WW (weight watchers.) I saw co-workers loosing weight and looking fabulous, and I just felt like that was the nudge I needed…BUT something still wasn’t right with my body and mindset. 🤔 This time I didn’t give up, I followed my gut and went for what my body, mind and soul TRULY needed…(insert one of the best wellness coaches ever!) She found me and I knew this is what I HAD to do. 😍
She was talking about her business and her passion for women’s health, hormones, & healing your body based on the root cause that I realized there was something going on beneath the surface. ❌
Here is what I did next:
💎I started an anti-inflammatory diet
💎I had a complete blood panel done
💎I began a custom supplement routine
💎I started moving my body again
💎I made personal development a PRIORITY
💎I was able to monitor and manage my stress
💎And I started making small wellness changes to non-toxic products
And just in these 8 weeks of time…⏰
I have no inflammation in my body
I am healing my gut
I have clearer thoughts and focus
I have little to no sleep anxiety
And I have never felt this alive and genuinely happy about myself ever in my life! 🙌
A huge part of my mission is to help women find the root causes and address them! I love sharing my stories and experiences but I am also so passionate about taking care of this one body that you have!
Because if your body can’t support your big goals, you are going to hit a wall!
