I am a native of Southern Illinois who migrated to St. Louis/Metro East area where I graduated from SIUE in 2011. I call Edwardsville home with my husband Ben, our 3 girls, and our 2 pups. I provide commercial photo work for all types of businesses. Whether it's people working, headshots, food, products, or buildings, marrying my love for portrait work with the business world is a challenge that I

truly love taking on. I also provide some traditional portrait photography options including lifestyle family shoots, engagements, senior sessions, and a few weddings a year. When someone asks me what my "style" is, I like to say that I take a candid approach to portrait photography. I am a chaser of light and a sucker for a sun flare. I believe in leaving our freckles and dimples alone. I believe in capturing moments, not poses. I prefer to shoot with natural light as much as possible and in the most natural settings available for our subject matter. Twin seniors? Sign me up! I had the pleasure of shooting with these two awesome Herrin High School Seniors (and we even snuck in their gorgeous Mom for a few; who purchased this session for them in the Chance Karnes “Cowboys & Quarterbacks” Memorial Golf Scramble auction) a few weeks back.

These two gave me a run for my money with their differing styles and personalities, but that's what makes these types of shoots so great. We met up on the perfect November afternoon and hopped around a few spots in Du Quoin and finished up by grabbing the last bits of fall color in Pyramid State Park.

I had the opportunity again this year to photograph the 2nd Annual Sandbach Strong Golf Scramble to Benefit The December 5th Fund over the weekend to help out my good friend, Justin Sandbach, and his calling to continue to raise money for those battling cancer. This is a great tournament that is always a ton of fun to participate in.

We raised over $7,000 last year and are still waiting on this year's final numbers, but we think we beat it. Thank you to everyone who participated and volunteered; we hope to do this every year bigger & better than the last. Please feel free to share and tag yourselves in the photos. ❤️

Ricky has been a friend since high school and shooting with me for a decade. I was thrilled at the chance to do some photos for his entire family. These are some wonderful people and clearly, we didn't have any fun together. :) I can't wait to be a part of Ricky and Taylor's wedding next year!
