I'm offering a new service in addition to my commercial photography - photo editing for professional photographers, commercial users and private collections!

The name of the business is Alpha Omega Photo Editing (www.aophotoediting.com) because editing an image is a transformational process from beginning to end.

Each week I'll post before and after images from projects that I hope you'll find fun to view and perhaps inspire you to send some business my way.

In homage to the biblical inspiration of alpha-omega, lets start with an edit of an image of the chapel at St. Anns Skilled Nursing and Therapy in Oklahoma City.

I’m super excited to just learn that a project I photographed featuring artist Martin Donlin, “What is the City but The People”, was juried into the top 100 Global Public Art Projects in the annual CODA-Worx CODA-awards. 🎉 The jury’s selection represents the Top 100 most successful design projects that integrate commissioned art into an interior, architectural, or public spaces. 🏆 This award is one of the Public Art industry’s top recognitions.

OKC is really making a mark with its dedication to integrating art into public works. Recognition well deserved.

Let's go out of 2021 with a colorful bang! Immerse yourself in these impactful 18' X 33' cultural murals by artist Carlos Barboza of Yukon! Called "Home" this extraordinary project is installed on the walls of the new Homeland off the NE corner of NE 36th and Lincoln Blvd. I was commissioned by creative oversight specialist Tony Morton of Kasum Fine Art Services & Manifold Creative Concepts and HAC, Inc. dba Homeland, United Supermarkets, and Cash Saver to capture the beauty and cultural essence of these murals that will resonate in this community for years to come. The mural project itself was commissioned by The Alliance for Economic Development in Oklahoma City. It's always an honor to shoot other's works and hopefully I did Carlos and Tony the justice they deserve!

Woo hoo! I'm super excited to learn this OKC Convention Ctr parking garage project I shot won an American Institute of Architects award for TAP Architecture! It is the highest design recognition the AIA grants any project at the State level – the only one bigger is National which TAP is entering next.

"For such a utilitarian everyday structure which is typically so mundane. it is rare that one rises to the level of civic prominence like this one does. The typically banal garage typology rises to the level of ephemeral experience. The jury appreciated the dappled quality of light and the experience of the user from both interior and exterior. The detailing of the polycarbonate panels is refined and elegant, it enlivens the street." [AIA Jury Comments]

Congratulations to all the participants who worked on the project including architectural stained glass artist Martin Donlin, Kasum Fine Art Services & Manifold Creative Concepts, Manhattan Construction Company, Kimley-Horn, Champion Designs, and the City of Oklahoma City among others.

It's truly a privilege to be entrusted to represent the amazing talents and work of everyone involved. I'm humbled and thankful.
