There's something about that first birthday.

You spend an entire year watching this tiny person become someone with opinions, favorite things, the funniest little expressions, and a personality all their own.

And then suddenly, you're planning a first birthday.

I love photographing this age because there's so much *them* in every little expression. The curious looks, the big grins, the serious faces, and all the little details that change so quickly.
