I am LOVING this new gig> Did you know that Edmond now has its own dock diving facility? The dock at Pleasant Pooch recently opened, and these are just some of the dogs that have been beating the summer heat and keeping up with their exercise routine. I intend to go there as much as I can to take pictures and play with my best friend. Come and try it!

Today is my my best friend’s birthday. Clara came to me almost seven years ago as a 4 months old puppy, a donation to A New Leash on Life, and ready for service dog training. She was doing very well with that but was also suffering from a lot of food and environmental allergies that caused skin rashes and ear infections, and so it was decided she would not become a service dog. We opted to adopt her, and spend the time and money necessary to get those allergies under control. That was the best decision we could have made, as she has repaid us hundreds of times over with her love for our family and constant companionship. To me, she has been a partner in almost everything I do, always ready for a new adventure, always upbeat, always fun. She’s a remarkable athlete, a fabulous companion, and a one of a kind dog every one loves. I am lucky to be her favorite person. Lucky to call her my friend. Happy 7th birthday, Clara!
