I need more engagement sessions like this.

Forget standing on the beach perfectly posed for an hour. Let’s run around, play in the water, get a little soaked and actually have some fun with it.

Barefoot, messy hair, wet clothes, laughing until your face hurts — basically less “engagement photos” and more just hanging out with your favorite person while I happen to have a camera.

Give me more of this.

There’s something wild about getting invited back into people’s lives as the story keeps changing.

Not just photographing the polished moments. The real stuff. The choosing each other, building a life, becoming a family.

Years later, I’m still behind the camera.

Simple always wins. Even white outfits!

No giant flower walls. No over-the-top sets. Just good light, real expressions, and photos that won’t look dated in five years.

She came in to celebrate turning one, and we knocked out some family photos while we were at it. Sometimes less really is more.
