There’s just something about an all-black set that I LOVE.

No distractions, no elaborate setups, just a simple backdrop that lets the personalities, connections, and little in-between moments do all the talking.

Whether we’re dancing, playing, snuggling, or letting the kids run the show, this setup is all about capturing your family exactly as you are.

Dance party sessions are seriously my favorite! You bring the playlist, and we spend the entire session dancing, laughing, and playing instead of worrying about posing. No awkward smiles, no forced moments, just your family having a ridiculously good time. Honestly, it might be the most fun you’ve ever had at a photo session!

A little rain, a whole lot of mood, and some pretty perfect timing. Jenny & Jim’s wedding day was beautifully moody, with the rain somehow knowing exactly when to take a break. It cleared just in time for family portraits outside and again right before the ceremony. A little wedding day magic!

A rare Saturday night where I got to be a wedding guest instead of the photographer on the family farm.

No camera bags, no timelines, no running around making sure everyone is where they’re supposed to be.

Just getting dressed up, celebrating family, and actually enjoying cocktail hour for once.
