My sweet Hummingbirds that visit every day and zip around after each other. They have nearly flown right into me as I sit and watch them chase each other around while I have my coffee each morning. Taken over a few days July 3-15, in Oak Bluffs at my house. They are fast and hard to focus on, but a fun challenge.

and back to the birds! These are the Osprey family from in front of my parents home in Edgartown.
Last year they had only a singleton, but this year they look on track to fledge triplets!! I went to check on them after the fireworks. Each year we worry they will be so upset as to abandon the nest. They were back with the chicks though and the Dad was busy getting fish for the morning meal! I love the expressions of Ospreys, they always look so mad and those babies can really holler!!

Seems like it's been forever since posting a beautiful horse image! so here is Marquis. A gorgeous and sweet Luisitano Stallion owned and trained by Tina Legno at Alivio Equestrian Academy in Lovetsville, VA. I had a great time attending this amazing workshop from Judy Reinford. She's the best at teaching techniques from photographing to editing! I really need to get back to editing and posting! 🤣👍

The island Osprey are now raising chicks! So far the 2 I watch are doing well. This one in OB has 2 young, last year they were unsuccessful at raising any at all. Fingers crossed both young will make it. The male was very involved in supervising the feeding after bringing dinner back. He was wet and bedraggled and had a good shake to get the water off. Exhausting round the clock care!
