Got another done! You might see this beauty a few more times....she has really good hair! This is Dancer the original horse that inspired Dancing Dreams Vanner. She is just as sweet as she is beautiful.

This is Zena and her foal Freddy, from Dancing Dreams Vanner Zena is a sweet and patient Gypsy Vanner and Freddy is a spicy but sweet baby who loves to get into everything....I was quite fond of Freddy!

I was able to get one beautiful Stallion image edited from my past weekend in Pennsylvania! This is Custom Made the Marksman, a beautiful Gypsy Vanner owned by Dancing Dreams Vanner He is spectacular! All their horses are so well cared for, have the sweetest personalities and are a pleasure to photograph.

Today is the big day! The sold out Celebration party of Jaws at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum sponsored by The Vineyard Haven Gazette. The Vineyard Haven Cultural District has a Jaws Traveling Art Fundraiser! “ We’re going to need a bigger Gallery” . Many artists donated their artistic take on Jaws memorabilia.

My composite photo of Olive, Maisy, my friend Judy’s’ Ollie and friend Samantha’s pet rats as well as the VH boat Cassie, and a Katama cormorant, are all featured, in the boat heading out on the dark ocean and from below comes the ominous shark. I had sweet little Ollie hold a tiny fish to lure up the shark….. Ollie is sweet and loveable but none to smart! It’s titled “ We’re going to need a bigger fish”.

Go see all the fabulous entries online, you can bid online. They will be moved to various Vineyard Haven stores for the next month. Hope everyone enjoyed all things Jaws over the past few days! Loved all the excitement and energy the fans brought to our little island!

and today it's about the Piping Plovers! Such cute little birds. My daughter is out there every day as a Shore bird monitor for The Trustees - Martha's Vineyard doing her best to make sure these little ones as well as other shore birds successfully nest and fledge each year. Can't wait to see the Plover babies....tiny blobs of fluff on tall legs. These were taken at mid day on Fuller St Beach and then at the golden hour as the sun was going down near the Edgartown Light house.

My favorite Osprey couple. I have been photographing these 2 since they first started nesting on Katama Bay about 5 years ago. They have successfully fledged young every year and excited to see how this year goes. I mostly got photos of the female as she flew from the nest, to a fence and then a tree right next to me to finish eating her fish tail. The male is almost always keeping a close eye nearby. She is now almost always sitting on the nest, working on hatching the next generation.

And on to the Osprey.....love these regal birds! They look so fierce, but just eat fish. Always enjoy photographing them.

Spring and all the beautiful birds are back! Went to Katama bay to check on the Osprey and then this gorgeous Great Egret flew by! Made my day and still have plenty of Osprey images to share l will post soon.

it's been awhile.....finally sat down to refamiliarize myself with the computer. Why not start with my beautiful lunkhead Roxy! She's a pretty pup for sure! This is her give me a treat stare!
