Thankfully, we did our traditional Christmas Eve gift opening so I didn’t miss the fun of seeing the kids’ joy while unwrapping some pretty thoughtful gifts (many of which we don’t remember buying 🤣). After Christmas Eve, I was in bed until today (with my guard dog by my side), except for one small adventure to the couch to show my lovely face awake from the dead while everyone ate Christmas dinner 😷. A belated Merry Christmas to all!

Yesterday, we went to the Cliffs of Moher, which was breathtakingly beautiful. I have so many more amazing photos on my 📸! This morning, my view while out for a run was a beautiful foal and mama and sheep 🤣 Loved it. Today we drove back to the eastern side of Ireland, about 30 minutes north of Dublin, where we will stay for a week in another adorable town.

Wednesday, we went to Lough Corrib and Ashbury Castle. Lough Corrib is the largest lake in Ireland, and our Airbnb was right on it. It was gorgeous! The boat ride to Cong was beautiful and it was such a cute little town with an abbey, restaurants, and of course, and ice cream truck 🤣
