I don’t think I’ll ever forget this session. 🤍
As a photographer, I get to witness some really beautiful moments, but every once in a while, I get to photograph something that feels so much bigger than just a session.
I had the incredible honor of photographing an expecting couple alongside the birth mom who is carrying their baby.
There was so much emotion in the session — excitement, love, anticipation, and a kind of strength that is difficult to put into words.
Adoption is not a simple story. It’s a story of love, sacrifice, trust, hope, and incredibly brave decisions. And being able to document even a small piece of that journey was such an honor.
These photos will always mean something different to me because they aren’t simply documenting a pregnancy. They’re documenting the beginning of a family’s story. A baby who is already so incredibly loved, parents anxiously waiting to meet their little one, and a birth mom whose strength and love are already shaping this child’s life in such a profound way.
I’m so grateful they trusted me to capture these moments. 🤍
And honestly, this is exactly why I love what I do. I get to freeze moments that people will be able to look back on for generations 🥹
