1 Year Ago Today, The Storm of a LIFETIME!!!

Wellfleet - My #1 ALLTIME Chase

1 Year ago on this very day I was witnessing the storm of my life. Prior to that storm happening, life had been handing me some extremely hard times, especially having just lost my father to stage 4 cancer 2 weeks before. This day for me though, everything that led to me being in the spot that I was in was by pure fate and instinct. The Wellfleet, NE Tornado and Structure LP Supercell was an extremely rare event, and one that probably won't happen again for a pretty long time, which I'm perfectly okay with! The tornado was on the ground for over 60 minutes, and during that, the storm exhibited immaculate LP (low precip) structure. Ill let the pictures do the rest of the talking! Enjoy!

Incredible Kansas Supercell!!!

Last Wednesday featured an incredible supercell across Central Kansas that put on an amazing structure show! It's definitely my SOTY (Structure of the year) so far! Very high moisture (dews 75+) and extreme instability paired up with favorable shear to allow a couple supercells to develop and tap into that fuel! What we got was a very skulpted supercell with some out of this world colors! Make sure to check out the attached timelapse too from this storm! Its a good one!!! The grind pays off with days like this!!
