Having a hard time getting the kiddos to smile or simply cooperate in photos? 😅

When a random lady with a bulky camera is all up in their space, it can be intimidating for a lot of kids. Trying poses that are fun and encourage movement are always a hit for family photos! Other ideas that usually work with kids are tickles from their parents, fart jokes, peek-a-boo from behind the camera, or playing music like Bluey’s Dance Mode 🎶

What are some other little hacks do you have for taking photos with young kids?

LIFE UPDATE — I’m now a mom! 🥰 I had a baby back in October & I’ve been transitioning into motherhood & enjoying every single moment with my sweet, beautiful baby girl 🥹

I haven’t posted on here in awhile because I haven’t been doing much photography the last few months, but now I’m ready to get back into it! And I figured what better time than for Mother’s Day! Happy Valentine’s Day, loves! 🥰 I am thankful for YOU. My clients, family, & friends, for supporting my photography & choosing me to be part of your special milestones 🤍

I haven’t introduced myself in a hot minute… I’m Hannah! The one behind the camera 📸 I got into photography 7 years ago after graduating film school & not knowing what to do next. My friend/photo partner at the time and I started by posting on local Facebook groups that we were offering photo sessions for $80. I started with just borrowing my dad’s Canon T3i and the rest, they say, is history.

Now I am living in the days I used to pray and dream about before 🥹 I remember the days trying to break into wedding photography, and now I get to do just that — capture people’s favorite day in their whole entire life.

I don’t take my job for granted. I’ve got so much love for y’all. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU 🫶🏻
