This year, we will be operating with fewer editors than usual over the tail end of December. Art Editing/Retouching services will be most impacted, as we will be operating with a skeleton crew in the Retouching department from December 18-January 6th.

With that in mind, we wanted to let you know these important deadlines with regards to Retouching/Artistic Editing:

December 15th, Last Day for Rush order submission
December 16th, Last Day for Normal Turnaround submission
December 17th, Orders submitted should expect delays
January 6th, return to normal

Our Image Correction Department will be less impacted. You can expect fairly typical turn-around times with the exception of our closure dates:

All Departments Closed December 24 - January 1st

We hope you take time with your loved ones this holiday season, and remember to get yourself the rest and relaxation that you very much deserve.

As we wrap up 2021 and look forward to the new year, our editors have been going non stop for months. We're working hard to get as much finished up this week as we can and then will be closed next week (December 25- January 2nd).

Happy Fall!

This time of year is often the busiest time of year for most photographers. To help reduce stress we wanted to share a little info on the latest release of Lightroom with you to avoid confusion down the road.

As the latest version of LR Classic has been released, it is not allowing for the previous version of Classic (LR8) to stay on the computer. So any catalog sent in Classic/LR8 will be returned as a LR9 catalog. Adobe seems to be working to force everyone to stay on the most updated version, which isn't the easiest thing for us as our clients use all different versions.

We will still be able to return LR8 catalogs for a short period of time and you'll notice Classic LR9 is the only option on the order form at this time.

Catalogs have also gotten much larger in size (starting at ~500MB) so lossy dngs with xmps returned are always a great option.

For anyone having issues connecting to our ftp server via an ftp client software (Transmit etc.) - please use SFTP (with port 22) instead of an FTP connection. This appears to be a server related issue and we have people working on it. Should you need any assistance, please let us know asap.
