I try to keep my kids home as much as possible for sessions but sometimes, mom life interferes. I had to take my oldest to an outdoor newborn session last week and was like wellllll, want to take some videos of the session for me? She was so excited.

She did amazing! I even asked her to do a full wrapping video for me and she did 🖤

Mom life will always come first -so if I have a little mini me tag along for content, she might be a full time employee soon 🤣

I am so sad that outdoor newborn season is at it's end but so glad I was able to fit one more outdoor newbie in this year.

Outdoor newborns are some of my favorite sessions every year. They mix in family session, with lifestyle with posed with a wrap... And honestly, who doesn't want to be out of the house + outside in the fresh air after just having a baby? ... I know being outside was one of my favorite things ...

Also, did you know that being outside, touching grass, breathing in fresh air, etc has science backed that it does reset your nervous system!? Remember that saying, take them outside or put them in water? Yeah.. it actually has some validity and it works with adults too .. and those toddlers that want to run around :)

Although outdoor season has come to an end for newbies, I am still booking lifestyle + "studio" newborns into April 2027 already.

Is senior Sunday still a thing? Or like closer to spring when they graduate!?

Alsoooo - It is NOT too late to book a senior session! Fall is actually a really good time to schedule ... You get the colors, without the super heat ... Its really a win-win.

Happy Saturday! What's your favorite fall activity? We went apple picking for Reagan's birthday a few weeks ago but I want to go to the zoo (not for zoo boo but just the zoo) and maybe a hike + cider/donuts at Yates ...

I have been photographing this duo since London's 5th birthday .. I cannot believe she is going to be 10! WILD!

This is the part of my job that is really cool - Seeing your kids grow up in front of my camera is something I cant explain, I am so grateful that I get to watch so many of your kids grow up throughout the years.

Okayyyyy - Y'all know I HAD to edit a couple of images from fall minis ... And if I am being honest I was really nervous about booking this space because of the distance but YALL SHOWED UP! And almost every client that attended said the same thing, "OH! I get why you had us drive out here!" Or something along those lines because it was WORTH it!

Soo if you see something you like, don't skip because of the distance .. Book the session + make a whole day or everything out of it! Go to lunch or dinner ... Run to the dollar store for some coloring books and crayons for the ride - Make it FUN!
