Do you spy the matching bonnet?!?

It was honestly my favorite detail from this entire session and something I would LOVE to see on more babies this year.

It’s something so classic that just never gets old while still being an ode to times since passed.
(I even put one on my little one for our Passover Foot-Washing photos from 2023. Should I share a few of those?)

There are tasteful way to include a detail like this without it feeling full “cottage core” if it’s not your thing, or you can make it extra special by using one from your own childhood. 🥹🤍

Long story… long. 😅 No better way for me to chatter about the last 6 years.

Who knew you could grow a business amidst growing a family… it wasn’t me. Only God could do that!
Abundantly loved and favored by Him is how I’ve felt for the past 5 years.

Across the board really, not just in business, but beyond that, in marriage, motherhood, and now more recently deeper faith and building of friendships.

Even in this season that, I have faith is coming to a close, the song that has repeated in my mind each and every day…

“I will praise you in this storm, and I will lift my hands, for You are who You are, no matter where I am. And every tear I’ve cried, You hold in Your hands, You never left my side, and though my heart is torn, I will praise You in this storm.”

I will praise Him, in the good times and the bad, for He is always faithful to those who love Him.

{Thinking of this session…} has me reflecting on how much you learn having with each baby.

We hit 32 weeks over the weekend and it does feel different. This has been the most trying season to also be pregnant. Everything is felt far more deep than any other time.

Which has led me to wonder what God is up to in my heart. My spirit has certainly shifted closer to Him. I’ve had to draw near to Him.

All for His glory. Pruning to bear more fruit. Uncomfortable for a time, but with it comes so much new growth.

The awareness that pregnancy brings has felt necessary to the growth I’m experiencing. I can hardly wait to see the full picture. Knowing His faithfulness, there is no doubt it will be beautiful.

Much is happening over here beyond inner-work!

Updates to the studio exterior
New Offerings rolling out over there, plus a potential partnership to bring legacy videos to clients.

Summer session reservations in full swing with only 3 remaining openings for spring before baby arrives.

We are now offering sessions in April + May with a wonderful associate photographer at a special investment.

And Gulf Coast Aerial Connection (Ken’s Business) is bringing a Drone Intensive Training for small business owners and farmers to Santa Rosa County. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Here’s the deal I KNOW mamas everywhere want family photos, I also know many teens aren’t looking to have a full session just at the beach. They want photos back home, some at their favorite coffee shop and so on. But for those that ALSO really love the beach and have made fond memories in places like St. George Island, it’s fitting to dedicate even a small window of time to portraits there. Commemorating the years that have passed and all that has shaped them; including their childhood vacation spot. (While also making mama happy and having photos of everyone!)

I started this add-on offering back in 2023 and it’s been a huge hit for so many families.

There is still a little time to schedule a session for Spring Break travels before the 2025/26 year comes to a close. If summer didn’t like to fill up so fast I wouldn’t say a thing, but if you’re looking to class of 2027 and you want the BEST beach scenes, this summer is YOUR time. 🤍

Never before seen photographs in this thread… of my OWN motherhood…
While the photographs I have with my babies are few and far between now, they are all something I hold so dear.

This season, these experiences, are refining and giving way to spiritual growth I often think I’d otherwise not have. It’s a gift.

The babies are blessings each and every time. Beyond anything else in my own life because it impacts so much. You can see the intention behind God’s heart in making us mothers.

He uses every small moment, and the most painful parts to shape us into who we need to be to serve His kingdom.

The latest on the blog really is a favorite topic for me! It came to my attention some really are uncertain on when a portrait session would make the most sense for their family and each of the seasons they are experiencing. I truly feel like this helps lay out so many options and times that are worthy of slowing down to document.
