I’ve been at this long enough… and I have opinions when it comes to locations. I’m not exactly a push over when it comes to a location for photos. I’m picky. I have *criteria*. 😅
But I’m nice about it, promise! You’ll hear me smile through the phone as I recommend somewhere different if I don’t like the spot you’re thinking. 😬
I’m all for changing things up every not and then, like for 2nd, 3rd, plus time clients, PLEASE, let’s create art somewhere new, or at least new to me working with you.
A beautiful example is a client I have in just a few weeks, this is her THIRD year working with me. Last two sessions were on Cape San Blas, this year she’s visiting St. George Island. (Which is new to her and to me with us working together.) Obviously I’ve photographed both of those locations far more than with them, but when an element changes, the weather, the client, the wardrobe, the final works of art change too. Making it unique to THAT exact experience.
So even if you book the same location year after year, there is something that always changes… YOU. You are being shaped and crafted by our maker every day. Every year, you have grown, your season has changed and that alone is worthy of documenting.
So trust me with the location and come as you are. Your photographs, the art, they will be uniquely yours, even in the same place, every time. 🤍
