We won the game. But more importantly, we won the night. 🏒❤️

Last night, my son Ryder and his Nonotuck Knights teammates got to experience something pretty incredible. A full hockey game on the same ice as the Springfield Thunderbirds at the MassMutual Center.

For these young players, this was the BIG LEAGUES.

Walking into the locker room, seeing his own name above his spot, getting dressed alongside his buddies, and stepping onto that ice like the pros.

As a dad, I’ll never forget the look in Ryder’s eyes. Pure excitement, imagination, and happiness. Watching him completely in his element, surrounded by his teammates, coaches, friends, and family. Man, that’s the good stuff.

These kids might forget the final score, but they’ll never forget how this night made them feel.

A HUGE thank you to the Springfield Thunderbirds for giving our kids this incredible opportunity, and to our Nonotuck coaches for the time, dedication, and heart you put into these young players. You’re creating memories that will last a lifetime.

What an incredible shoot with Salon Stella.

I originally met Samantha through my best friend Ricky Hodge, and even with Sam being based down in Rhode Island, we found a way to bring this collaboration together.

One of my favorite parts of photographing businesses is getting to know the person behind the brand. Sam is a businesswoman and entrepreneur who is always thinking about what’s next, how to elevate her salon, and how to help the stylists around her continue to grow.

This shoot was about creating a fresh library of imagery that could help reflect that: portraits, team imagery, details and photographs that feel like the next chapter of the Salon Stella brand.

Sam, thank you for trusting me and believing in what I could bring to this. It was such a great day with you and your team, and I’m incredibly grateful I got to be a part of it.

This backyard pour was a beast.

Austin friends, I’m coming back! 🤘

I’ve had a lot of people asking when I might make it back to Austin to shoot again, so I’m really excited to finally put some dates on the calendar.

I’ll be back September 24–29 and opening a limited number of headshot sessions while I’m in town.

I’m excited to reconnect with old friends and clients and work with agencies, actors, talent, business professionals and some new faces while I’m there. Austin was home for a long time, and I’ve always loved shooting around the city. I’m looking forward to getting back downtown and creating some great new work.

4 Look Session | $650

I’ll have four session times available each day at 8 AM, 11 AM, 2 PM and 5 PM.

All sessions will take place around downtown Austin at some of my favorite locations. A 50% deposit secures your spot.

I'm incredibly honored and grateful to be featured on the cover of this month's Easthampton Living Magazine.

When my wife and I moved our family back to Western Massachusetts, we were excited about being closer to family and raising our kids in a community that values connection, creativity, and kindness. At the same time, I was rebuilding my photography business in a completely new market after spending years working in larger cities.

Anyone who owns a small business knows that can feel like a leap of faith.

You work hard. You put yourself out there. You invest in people and relationships. You hope you're making a difference, but sometimes it's hard to know.

Seeing this cover and reading our family's story reminds me how fortunate I am to be part of such an incredible community.

I'm thankful for every client, every creative collaboration, every conversation at the studio, and every person who has welcomed us since we've been here.

Most importantly, I'm grateful for my family, who inspire everything I do.

Thank you to Jenn and the entire Easthampton Living Magazine team for the opportunity to share our story. It truly means a lot.

I recently switched my lighting system over to Godox, so I’m letting go of my Profoto strobes. These have been amazing lights for me over the years — super reliable and consistent — but they don’t integrate with my new setup.

What’s included:

• 2x Profoto D1 500 Air – $500 each
• 1x Profoto Compact 600 – $300
• Canon EOS 5D Mark III + BG-E12 Battery Grip – $400–450

Also includes cables + modifiers shown in the photo.

Everything is still working great. This is professional gear that’s been used in a real studio environment, so it shows normal wear but performs exactly as it should.

Perfect for anyone building out a studio setup or looking to get into Profoto without paying new prices.
