I was entrusted with my brother in laws camera at 12 years old. I took it into the woods and got some amazing macro photos of plant life and a beautiful reflection of my friend's mothers fountain. When those shots came back, I was amazed they looked exactly as I had expected. That says a lot for film photography especially for someone who had never handled a 35 mm camera! I doubt my exposure was g
ood, but I had the eye for the shot. As Ansel Adams once said, "You don't take a photo, you MAKE one". I've learned a lot over the yeas, and regret never going to college. I truly believe I should have been a photo journalist. But no looking back! I enter shows when possible, and have had some of photos purchased from a local coffee shop in Irwin when they were on display. I prefer outdoor settings for my portraits with natural light. But I don't mind using a studio approach either. My equipment is made to travel as well. If someone wants portraits in their home, I can do that too for an extra fee. I am available for events, such as weddings, retirement parties, graduation parties, birthdays, passport photos , pet photos, etc. I will need fair notice but I will try and fit you in on the date of your choice. I charge a sitting fee and I a no show fee if you are scheduled for an appointment and fail to give cancellation notice within 24 hours of the appointment. Please email me with any questions.
