Emma Cottage Photography A selection of photographs from Emma Cottage - Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS) This meant moving from a darkroom to a digital workflow.

Emma has worked in the photographic and printing industry since 1995. Qualifying first as a Licentiate and soon after as an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society. As well as a love for the Somerset landscape, she worked hard capturing portrait images of all generations. Learning to hand print the highest quality photographs within a darkroom environment and mastering the skills of digital ph

otography & editing. While working for various photographic & printing businesses, technology saw many phenomenal advances of which she embraced every stage. She gained in depth knowledge on products from manufacturers such as Hewlett Packard and Epson. Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom techniques replacing dodging and burning in a darkroom, she has the skill of printing digitally with different inks onto fine art & photographic papers. Inspiring people to document their own families for generations to enjoy.

So excited to share my first South Burlington family session! After 30+ years behind the camera, it’s wonderful to be connecting with families in this vibrant community as I expand my photography work to the area.

These guys were up early enough to catch the morning mist, and it was so worth it. The light, the color, everything about this fall morning was pure perfection.

It’s moments like these, when families lean into a little adventure for the sake of memories, that make my job such a joy.
