Hi Facebook, long time no see! Life update: I've moved to Seattle, WA this year. I've been here for over a month and I've been LOVING it so far. This past weekend, I had the opportunity to shoot more photos for a drink company called Ohza, and here are some sneak peeks from the raddest day in the mountain!

Moving out here has been a massive game changer for me, it has pushed me out of my comfort zone and I'm ready to see what 2021 brings.

First of all... hi, I'm back! My 2020 had been super busy which I'm super thankful for. I shot two GORGEOUS weddings in January and I will be posting those weddings super soon. But before that, here are some pictures from an amazing maternity session I did last week. These two lovebirds have been married for 5 years and they are now expecting their baby! I cannot wait to meet the tiny babe soon 🥰

The DeJongs //

My first photoshoot in 2020 and it's already going reaaaallyyyy great. I got to photograph my colleagues from college! Mickey and Joel both worked at the radio station I worked at during college, and let me tell you... these two are the most humble and genuine people you'll ever meet. I was so happy when Mickey reached out to me about a photoshoot at their home. It's always been my dream to have an in-home session! Their home is so lovely and I could definitely feel the love 💞

Chloe //

So this past Summer I got to photograph Alaina, a young dancer in Fenton. Well the photos turned out amazing (I was obsessed with every one of them), and it led me to photograph Chloe this Fall.

I've said this before and I'll say it again... every single dance move is a piece of art. I took my camera out, told Chloe to do whatever dance move she wanted to do, and there she went... she did her thing and it was amazing to watch.

Also, she is only 10 years old and she is already doing amazing things?! When I was 10 years old, I have no idea what I was doing 😂 probably just sitting on my couch watching Disney channel. Chloe and her mom Carey are the kindest and they have the biggest heart– after the session, I had to stay at their house for a little bit before I head back to East Lansing, and they served me hot cocoa and donuts!! Chloe and I had a fun conversation and I truly enjoyed their company.

I don't know what to say about this session.

BEST. SESSION. YET.

The moment I met Erica and Joe, I knew this would be a fun session. They were so fun and the photoshoot was filled with laughter. Also, I'm so obsessed with her hat, her hair, their outfits 😍 everything!!

Congratulations on your engagement! You guys make such a gorgeous couple ✨

Lauren & Rob // The Wedding

A couple weeks ago, I had the privilege of shooting Lauren and Rob's wedding in Ionia, Michigan. The wedding was in this cute barn and they were surrounded by their beloved family and friends from in and out of the country. Lauren and Rob are the one of the sweetest, most down to earth couples out there. I am so glad to be able to capture one of their special moments in life ✨

Alsha & Jacob //

Last week, I had the opportunity to take photos of one of my good friends in college! Alsha was one of the first people I met at Michigan State University and I had all the pleasure to shoot their pictures.

Also, this couple is the sweetest. They had such a strong chemistry and their personality cannot be more alike. I am so happy that I got to do this with them! 🧡
