Had the opportunity a couple weeks ago to photograph the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus at OLV Basilica. Attending this choral performance is an event everyone should have on their bucket list.

My favorite photo from the Bills vs Brown's Tailgate.
Getting out of the car in my favorite Glen Street parking lot it was a mix of rain and snow. I did'nt want to take my best camera and lens out of the bag so I took my old 50D and the trusty 24-105. It's my so what package. Who cares what the weather is. The light was a soft overcast sky, not many shadows so I wouldn't need the flash.

On this shot the group was standing behind a somewhat smoky fire and after taking the group shot this young lady and I noticed her eyes were closed in the group photo. I hate when I do that. So I said, "let me take a solo shot". I think the light was just perfect and she had a great smile tucked in under the furry ruff and comfortable warm bulky scarf. It's one of those shots that just happen.
