Hi everyone,
Im sorry, my postpartum leave has been much longer than I anticipated. (I'll share an update on that in a different post at a later time.) For now, I am coming out of my break to graciously request everyone's prayers.
❤️Our 2 year old son, Malachi, was born with a special heart. His aortic arch developed on the “wrong” side (the right side, instead of the left side) which causes vessels to reroute and wrap around his trachea and esophagus. In Malachi’s case, It also caused a vascular ring to form.
Tomorrow morning he will undergo heart surgery to divide/correct this vascular ring. As you can imagine, my husband and I are full of anxiety. Please keep Malachi, our family, his surgeon, and medical team in your prayers.
