Hi friends!!👋🏽 it’s been a while, but I’m so excited to be back & a bit more present on here than before.🥰

I told you I had something fun coming your way & should’ve known that sharing a photo of our boy with hints of an announcement would suggest a baby on the way.🙃 Unfortunately, as excited as we are to grow our little family, that isn’t the case atm!😆🫶🏽

That said, after my long break I figured there’s no better way to jump back into this beautiful season of picture taking than with SPRING MINIS!😍🌷⛅️

If you’ve booked with me before, you know I offer these year round, but this time I’ll be switching it up a bit.

This go I’ll be offering minis the weekend of May 3rd, AND airbnb minis the weekend of June 7th!!!☺️ Both will be $100 off my normal mini session rate & launched this week.

I don’t do couples sessions often, but when I do…👀😍💓😮‍💨

Here’s a sneak peek at an in-home, engagement session that hit me right in the feels, spoke to my heart & fed my creative soul!

What a dream it was shooting with these two…cozying up in their home, enjoying each other’s company, watering the garden, & hanging with their cute little farm babies.🌱🐓

As your photographer, it’s always my goal to capture your story & your love authentically.

So grab your people, open the wine, leave the mess, & come as you are — let’s have some fun doing whatever it is that you love most. In the comfort of your home & I’ll snap away!!! This is what makes these sessions so special…

Being in your space & documenting what makes you guys uniquely YOU. As you are, in the season that you’re in. Amidst the dirty dishes, the chickens & the goats, & barefoot babies playing out back — the everyday, the mundane, the simple joys & the love that is around & within each wall of your home.

Sent off these sneak peeks yesterday & I think my heart has grown ten times just between shooting & editing them!!🫶🏽

Bodi’s squishy little lips. Theo’s curious, yet ever so sweet demeanor. The toy’s & bible verses sprinkled around each room I walked into.

A proud mommy of two, who shared her redemptive birth story with me.😭🙏🏽 & a daddy with his arms more full than ever before! A growing family, amongst dishes from yesterday & laundry still needing to be folded.

The abundance of love & the honest, evidence of life, that filled the walls of this home brought me to tears!🥹

We laughed. We definitely all cried. & we spent the afternoon pausing for snacks, play, & snuggles when needed…all while documenting in between.

& if you ask me, I would say that every bit of that is exactly what made this session most beautiful & most special.🥰

Love. Connection. Real moments. Real life.👏🏽

It was & always is the biggest honor getting to step foot into a family’s sacred space & capture it so authentically.

& to each & every family that has or will ever book me for these special, special in-home sessions, thank you again & again for allowing me to do so!🤎

Forever praising the Lord big time for this one🥹 — two of my favorite people are having a BABY!!!

God has moved mountains & made a way for these two & their story is nothing short of a testament to God’s love for us & their faithfulness to Him.

This tiny, miracle is the luckiest little girl ever to have them as her parents.

What a blessing she is, & what a blessing they are…in my life & to so many that love them.

June can’t come any soon enough!!! Eep! Auntie to a sweet little NIECE, coming soon! 😭😍💗

This precious girl was the most content & serene little bundle I have ever seen! Between her perfect, tiny features & her cutest, little snores, she had my heart in a puddle the entire time of her session.🥹

Spent the last two weeks off with a sicky bug that was goin’ around our house.🥴 So saying I’m happy to be back to work this week is an understatement!!

Been workin’ my little tail off the last couple days, getting caught back up & working on some fun things!

One of which is floral studio minis!! If you missed it, they are back up & live!😍

Some things have changed & here’s what to note:😌☝🏽
- They’ll now be held on Sunday, April 14th.
- There are a couple more time slots available.

Been photographing this crew since 2019 & each time I work with them it gets sweeter & sweeter!

I met Hailey back when we both worked at the daycare together! Both of us sharing passions for littles & photography. She was one of the first few that let me practice with my new camera. Giving me full creative range & trusting me to capture her, her husband & their first daughter, Paisley!

Then their next set of family photos as an official paying client! They had welcomed their second daughter, Spencer, into the family in between the sessions, so it was special getting to then document their growing family!

& now this session this last fall. Their girls even more grown up…full of personality, s***k, & so much cuteness! & Hailey telling me how much they have always cherished their photos & that it’s time to bump my prices! How she sees me as a mom & business owner.

I will never not be so incredibly grateful for her…for these people — the clients who see me, value the hard work that I pour into this little business of mine, & trust me with their memories year after year. & even more so this last year as I’ve had to learn how to navigate being a mom while running a business.

This work can be hard. But this work is also so rewarding! I wear so many hats being self employed, yet I wouldn’t trade that for a moment! I’ve come a long way the last 12 years & it is such an honor when someone sees the hard work, dedication & how much I care about this job that I get to do every day.

So here’s my biggest thanks to YOU, my amazing clients!! & to anyone who has supported my business in any way throughout all of these years. Thank you for meeting me where I’m at & giving me grace as I learn & grow & create with you! I can’t ever express enough how much I truly appreciate you!!🫶🏽🫶🏽

Launching something fun Friday & here’s your hint.🕵🏽‍♀️

…this lil throwback with my boy when he was 3 months old!🥹

Back when I was deep in the trenches of postpartum.

Days filled with endless snuggles & too many kisses to count. Navigating so much & loving him being little. Sleep deprived & just happy to be wearing something other than jammies from the day before. He was balding & so was I!😂

The day-to-day. The little moments. I just wanted to bottle them up & have them captured to remember forever.

Might have had a quick, closet meltdown before taking these — because clothes finally fit, but just not the same (the mom’s who get it, get it!😆) — buuut…

…take the pictures. Nevertheless, take👏🏽 them👏🏽. Even if your life (or your hair lol) feels a bit messy.

You will never regret it. I can promise you that!

I love my squishy boy so much…even though he’s not so squishy anymore. & looking back now, I’m so grateful for these impromptu photos Joe helped me take.🥹🤍

Take me back to Tennessee & getting to create some magic with these beautiful girls!😍

Mary reached out prior to our trip to the south in November saying she wanted to capture the special bond her & her daughter shared!

She told me a bit about her testimony & the challenges she’s faced over the last few years with sobriety & becoming a single mom. How God redeemed her & how she has been made new (praise Jesus!!🙏🏽). How He gave her a second chance, how proud of herself she is to have accomplished all she has, & how much she loves her little girl!🥹

If there’s anything that I love most about my “job”, THIS is it!😭 Meeting new people, hearing their stories, & being welcomed into their space to capture it.

Mary, what an honor & joy it was to get to work with you & your mini — to document this season of your guys’ life. You are a gem & sweet Emma girl is pure sunshine! It was SO special getting to meet & work with you both.🥰
