Fall sessions are still in full swing and I’ve been editing constantly. I don’t want the fall season to get away from me without sharing any of the sessions I’ve had the privilege of documenting. With that said here is a beautiful family in all of falls glory.

Happy Fall Ya'll! Hope everyone is thriving and not just surviving this early on in October. I know I'm not the only parent out there who gets a little overwhelmed with all the fall festivities, sports, and school events, etc. In our house once we hit September it basically flies to the new year.

I had such a fun time with this family of five with three boys. Something I have learned over the years I've been doing family sessions is to allow for fun and movement. As we all know lots of boys have tons of energy and rather than trying to control that energy these parents were relaxed and happy letting their boys run wild and free. I so appreciate this take because when the parents are stressed the kids can feel it.

This mom was a true champ and rolled with the weather too. We had to bump up their session by 3 hours due to the very dark clouds. We made it work and I love the way their gallery turned out.

Any clients of mine that has a session this coming fall please be prepared to pivot on start times if your session falls on a very cloudy/rainy day. I watch the weather like a stalker all week leading up to your session and usually we don't have to change but when we do it's so helpful to be a bit flexible!

It's always an honor when I get to photograph this beautiful family. It was just about 2 years to the day that I last photographed them and the amount that these kids had grown was astonishing.

There is nothing better than getting to photograph a family more than once!

Photographing Baby Maeve with her family was a pleasure. She was such an angel baby at almost 2 months. So happy, smiley and cozy.
