Greetings;
As a life-long resident of Eagle River, Wisconsin, I have always enjoyed the beauty of the Northwoods. In this community, I have a full time profession in Law Enforcement and am a member of the Eagle River Area Fire Department. My wife and I are raising our four children on a little hobby farm. We are surrounded by extended family and friends to share our life with. I have been involve
d with photography for the past fifteen years. I am a graduate from the New York Institute of Photography and also self-taught over the years. Nature is my inspiration in photography, whether it is a portrait, weddings or the still life that nature has to offer. Beauty surrounds us daily and it is our job to see the image provided by nature. To isolate an image and create a photograph is the greatest gift that can be achieved. The use of a camera is only one small tool that I use to create memories from nature. There is an image in everything God has given us. We need to open our eyes and hearts to what God has gifted and be thankful to him for what he created for us to enjoy. My goal as a photographer is to record an image as seen and not manipulate the image with the use of a computer. I have traveled over the years and have been inspired by many things. I have found the most interesting photographs have come from the mid-west, from Lake Superior, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and in my own back yard. When I photograph portraits, I like the use of available and diffused lighting for candid photographs. Photographing people when they do not expect it catches them as their true selves. The use of nature is the perfect back ground for any photograph, particularly people in the environment. Each image is printed per order. I do not keep a stock of images. Therefore each customer receives individual attention. Whether the order is gift cards, portraits or nature photographs, each customer receives my individual attention. As we all know too well, life is so busy and at times very stressful. We should take lessons from the camera. Slow down, and look at life, one frame at a time. You are invited to view and enjoy the galleries of Natural Images Photography. Thank You
