I caught some small Brown Trout today, but I need something more magical right now.

I tried to distract myself with a little fishing and a chance to cool off with a fun challenge.

This little stream was surprisingly technical and most the fun was figuring it out.

The last 30 days have been the longest 10 years of my life. It’s been a whirlwind of emotions, doctors visits, an overwhelming outpouring of love, and most of all the uncertainty. Watching the love of my life go through cancer and feeling helpless has been a rollercoaster challenge. Not the most difficult, but certainly the one where I’ve had the least amount of control in the outcome.

To anyone fighting this battle hang in there, stay positive, and keep up the fight.
