So, I don’t own anything with actual rainbows on it but today I wore this rainbow inspired tshirt. It was a shirt from a previous Durham Pride Parade when I walked with DAE.
It says “United for our students”. Now, more than ever we need to come together to support our LGBTQIA students and the educators who work with them.
NC legislature has overturned our governor’s veto on some very harmful legislation.
I am an ally and I am here to support ALL the kids, not just the ones that fit neatly into a heteronormative box.

I was given an opportunity to go to the Triangle Music School in Durham to get some pictures of what they do there. These are only a small sampling of what I captured.
I loved watching these kids having so much fun learning how to play their instruments. I was there with kids ranging in age from newly 4 to teens.
If you've been looking for a place to take your kids for music lessons I would check them out!
