About HOPE IN ARDEN

Years ago, when I was an actress, I was lucky enough to do a play called As You Like It. It was written by the great William Shakespeare, and was a highlight of my professional acting career. The play takes place mostly in the Forest Of Arden, which was both a real forest that existed in the English West Midlands, and a fantastical forest from Shakespeare’s imagination. Shake

speare’s Forest is a place of transformation, where lovers reveal themselves, parents embrace their children, friends frolic, and nature transforms both itself and the people who inhabit it in all the seasons of their lives. I decided to call my photography business Hope In Arden because Arden to me is a place where you can be your authentic self, and that is exactly who I want to capture in my photos of you and your family. It is my hope that you will have fun in this metaphorical forest, and that you and yours will feel free to just be!
