A little late posting these, but Derby Mania at Tryon International a couple of weeks ago was such a great show! ✨

From tiny crossrails to beautiful hunter rounds and everything in between, it was such a joy to watch every rider and horse step into the ring and give it their all. Seeing the hard work, determination, and those moments when everything comes together is exactly why I love photographing this sport.

A special congratulations to Amelia and Savannah on an incredible 6th-place finish in the Derby! 🎉 It was so much fun watching you both shine in the ring, and what a well-deserved accomplishment!

Thank you to everyone who trusted me to capture your memories. I had such a fun weekend behind the lens, and I’m already looking forward to the next trip to Tryon!

🐾 The family members who never complain about being in front of the camera… 🐾

One of my favorite things about family photography is getting to meet the four-legged members of the family, too. Whether they’re dressed to impress, or sitting perfectly for a portrait (at least for a few seconds 😉), every pet brings their own personality to a session.

If your furry friend is part of your family, don’t leave them out of your next photo session. Some of the best memories come with a little extra fur. ❤️
