Some clips and snaps from what’s arguably one of the best bike races around. Thanks to and for making this a reality year after year.

This Memorial Day weekend was one for the books. From amazing films in Telluride at (forgot to take many pictures there) to getting home just in time to catch part of the Iron Horse MTB race.

The Iron Horse is one of those things that really show what Durango is all about. The community pulls together and shows up in a way that not many other towns can replicate. Truly such a fun community and it’s hard to share the amazing energy that ethos event brings.

While these events are so fun, they also remind me that, even though it’s very far from perfect, we are truly lucky to enjoy lives in a place so free. So, thank you to all the amazing folks who have and continue to serve our country. Without you there is no US.

Last week at the Summit out at was such a stellar time! Even with the low snow year across the western states, skiing is still the coolest sport ever and always has the greatest community. This event was evidence of that from the skiing to the panel discussions and all the hangs in between. Super grateful for the opportunity to shoot some photos and video along the way. If you’re looking for on e of the most fun events on snow, you should definitely consider attending the summit next year.

Also, sorry if I missed ya in the tags. Hit my limit pretty quick.

I have traveled in a lot of different ways. Living in my car for three weeks after graduating high school. Hitchhiking through Costa Rica as a broke college freshman. Twenty days in Peru on a shoestring budget with my wife. Kicking a soccer ball across Scandinavia at 17. Slowing things down on a honeymoon in Mexico.

Different places. Different seasons of life. Same pull. The unfamiliar. The moments you cannot plan for.

That is where the stories are.

Not just in the landscape, but in the people, the rhythm of a place, the small details most people miss. It is those moments that shape perspective and stay with you long after you leave.

As a photographer and filmmaker, that is what I am drawn to capturing. Real experiences. Honest moments. Stories that that aren’t a production.

This is why I am applying to the storytelling assignment.

Winter finally showed up out west and I was lucky enough to get out and play around on both sides of the camera for this storm cycle. Thankful for my gear keeping me warm and dry during these awesome days. It’s great peace of mind knowing I can reach for gear that just works and I don’t have to think about it. Needless to say, I am glad to see winter has joined the chat here in Colorado and will continue to pray for snow 🙏

Big thanks to for grabbing some frames for me

Also, big ups to for inspiring me to play around with negative color grading and reminding me to have some fun with it. Definitely been feeling the grind lately and this was all a breath of fresh air.

This winter has been nothing short of underwhelming, but sliding around on the snow and having a good time with friends is still fun even when the snow isn’t. I’ve also really been enjoying my Figment ski kit from . While I haven’t been skiing crazy powder days, I have been skiing in wind, rain, and a couple very cold days and it’s been the simplest part of my skiing decisions all season.
All that to say, I really hope February and March bring pow days and party laps with friends. Pray for snow!

More from the archives here. I had a stellar time working with & as well as on some après style media last winter. It was a nice change of pace to prioritize skiing for enjoyment while still creating some great content.

If anyone out there is looking to hire for product (or skiing) work this winter, I’d love to connect!

Not quite a 2025 photo dump, but some of my favorite snow photos from the last season or so. Just need to remind myself of all the good moments. Despite last year being a low snow season, it had some stellar days. This season feels a little different so far and it’s scary. Such a low snow pack is not only a bummer for skiing reasons, but it makes me weary for fire season. So, keep praying for snow.

I’ve been spending some time in the archives and I’ve decided I need to share more of my work - just like I do every year. So, hopefully, (if you read this) you will enjoy the images to come over the next couple weeks!

Couple of drone snaps from the sunset in town tonight. I truly love how this town looks when it’s covered in snow and I really hope it keeps coming. Winter is by far my favorite time of year (‘cause skiing) and this slow start to the season has been borderline depressing. So, send those prayers for snow, put ice cubes in the toilet, put a frozen spoon under your pillow, heck maybe even burn a pair of skis if you think it’ll make it snow some more 🙏

Alright last one… maybe. I don’t know what else to say about how incredible the northern lights were here in the Juan’s. This frame in particular was a re-creation of an image I took up at Purg years ago. It was definitely a challenge getting everything lined up in the dark. The compression from the 70-200 definitely made the star trails longer than I wanted, but all in all, I’m stoked on how this turned out. Here’s hoping to next time I’m in this spot it’ll be covered in snow.
