June 26, 2020 – COVID-19 response from NVPS President, Ron Taylor:
“NVPS will hold weekly meetings via Zoom when we return on September 1, after our summer break. Zoom is a web-based videoconferencing app that allows us to bring our programs, competitions, and other educational activities live, right to your computer, tablet, or phone. We have already booked many of our speakers and judges and we look forward to offering a full slate of activities in the coming year. We will monitor the status of pandemic-related restrictions and will return to in-person meetings when we believe it is safe to do so. In the meantime, please enjoy our Zoom-based meetings and let us know how we can continue to provide services to you as a valued member of NVPS.”

Important Announcement to All Club Members - Please Read:📣
Given the rapidly unfolding situation regarding the COVID-19 virus, the NVPS board decided today to cancel all NVPS meetings for the remainder of March. This includes Saturday’s field trip to Luray Caverns (3/14), competition (3/17), member’s gallery and forum (3/24), and the portfolio review (3/31).

This decision to cancel meetings is regrettable but is in your best interest. We will continue to monitor recommendations from local authorities to determine when normal activities can resume. Until then, stay healthy, be creative and continue to develop your skills. We will keep you informed on club decisions as we learn more.
Kevin Egan, NVPS President
