On day two of the adventure trip there were two options: the long hike of 8 miles, or the short hike of roughly 2 miles....

On day two of the adventure trip there were two options: the long hike of 8 miles, or the short hike of roughly 2 miles. Myself and many others chose the long hike thinking this will be a piece of cake. Three miles into the hike, a quarter of the group was ready to be flown back to camp. We reached the end and felt exhausted, the views were good but not amazing for how much time and energy we put into the hike. The group that took the short hike had received similar views of Letchworth State Park if not better views.
That evening we received a message from Noah about the parable of workers in the vineyard. I don't think it was planned, much of the devotionals and messages between leaders were not discussed prior, but God was working when all of the devotions that week aligned in perfect harmony. If you haven't read Matthew 20, I would highly recommend reading it. As for JCB, what is one way you could connect that hike to what we learned, and/or could you paraphrase the parable of the Vineyard Workers?

Indiana Wesleyan Graduation is tomorrow and if you are a graduate or family to a graduate come find me on campus!
