If you’ve been waiting for a sign to ditch the big wedding and elope at the beach.... this is it! 😍 This beautiful family reached out to me about capturing their intimate wedding ceremony, and it was an immediate yes from me! We met up during golden hour and they exchanged vows as the sun set. Their sweet daughter was their flower girl! And after they were officially married (!!!) we stayed while the sun faded and took photos of the start of their new lives together. 

Elopements are so special because all these moments are so profound. They’re quiet but deeply meaningful. When you take away any hint of performance, and just focus on the love... it’s really beautiful.

Somehow life speeds up when you have a baby. All of a sudden they’re changing every day, and new milestones are happening so fast. I love when my clients reach out to book sessions along the way. Getting to document each new expression and quirk for your little one, before it slips away. They’re cute in every stage, but they change SO MUCH. Milestone sessions will always be special to me for that reason.

Eloping in Florida is one of the most special experiences ever. You have the dreamy beaches. The gorgeous sunsets. The tall palm trees.

There is something so reverent and quiet and special about starting the next phase of your life here.

If you’re dreaming of bypassing the whole “big wedding” affair and sneaking off with your significant other to say I Do… this is your formal invitation to come to Florida 😍

When you’re dreaming of your Florida elopement, it’s easy to think of the photos on the beach. Palm trees overhead. Epic blue skies everywhere.

But one of the most common regrets I hear as an elopement photographer is not capturing the entire day.

When you’re sitting in your Airbnb, slipping into your gown or talking with your friends. The anticipatory joy is such an amazing thing, and a lot of couples want to remember these moments too.

This is also when we can get so many detail pictures. From rings, to private vows scribbled on a napkin… these are the things I’m looking for when capturing your entire day.

Even if we split the day up between morning and evening, taking a break in between… you never regret more memories being captured on your special day.

What if it rains? ☔️

Fair question, as we do get a lot of thunderstorms here in Florida! If you’re planning a beach ceremony, it’s good to think about what you might want to do if it rains.

In my opinion… unless it’s openly raining during the moments of your ceremony, it’s worth it to still get out and elope on the beach! The stormy clouds create epic backdrops!

I will never get over the magic of a newborn session. Especially when we get to meet up at your home, the place you’re *living life* and really capture it all. I know it’s so cliche to say, but these days really are so fast & blurry. But there is a future version of yourself that will absolutely cherish seeing these days in reverse.

“I have a friend who is getting married and they need a photographer. You need to do it.”

She pushed me to say yes, and I’m so glad I did.

If she hadn’t pushed me to try something new and accept this job, I wouldn’t be here today.

So when she reached out with her own announcement (!!) I was thrilled to be able to take newlywed portraits for them. A really full circle moment for me!

I’ll forever be grateful to have people in my life that push me to try new things. Because who knows, you might just become an elopement photographer!

When my sister told me she was expecting, I was over the moon. SO excited to be an aunt and love on this babe.

She wanted to do maternity photos, so we styled this session together. I wanted her green dress to both compliment the rugged environment, while adding another texture for visual interest. I loved the color palette they chose for their outfits too. The earth tones look really good outdoors!

I love all my maternity sessions, but gotta admit, this one might have been a favorite (I’m biased, okay?) 😉
