"What's on your mind, Oregon Through Time?"

Well, Facebook, to be honest, there is a lot on my mind, one of the things is being more active on this 'business page', and to do that is to create more useful content, as in I need to get out there and be more active with my camera. As you may have seen, in the last two weeks, I have made that happen once; once is better than none, right? Yes, I say, "yes" it is, and as you will see in the weeks to come, I'll be a lot more active as I have been partnering with he owner of NNewberg Findsand making things such as in the last few weeks I was recently as Duck pond wine tasting room in Dundee not just to help their business, but to make the photo(s) of Duck pond that Ray wants to put up on his app more SuperB, so if the content is coming in, but slow bare with me as I work on my content as well as managing my role at Newberg finds as the "Social media creative"! Don't worry, we are looking at optimizing that ;)

The Newberg Public Art Council is hosting the first annual "Art in the Berg” marketplace! This marketplace celebrates local artists by providing an opportunity to show and sell their art. This is by far the most popular topic I've seen on the community Facebook group, so I decided to get some answers. We're all about answering the community's questions here at Newsberg.

Long story short: nothing. There are no plans at the moment. I received confirmation from the leasing agent that it's still available, and Elmer's corporate said they currently have no plans to open a restaurant in Newberg. There have been no permits filed for any sort of demolition.

I'll be keeping my eye on what appears to be the hottest commercial real estate building in Newberg, but in the meantime head to newsberg.org to read the full story, including a shallow dive into the history and ultimate demise of Shari's Cafe & Pies.

Thanks to the hard work of Terry Emery, board member of the Newberg Downtown Coalition and representing the Newberg Art Council, our downtown is looking brighter! // reposting from “….the newest addition to Downtown Newberg: string lights atop the buildings downtown.

The project has been in the works since 2020, when the Newberg Downtown Coalition affixed lights to the downtown street trees. However, those were quickly damaged and needed to come down. This time, they focused on buildings to ensure easy power access and longevity.

I would love to give a shout-out to Ray at Newberg Finds he does a phenomenal job with his business, and he has only been around a few months! Now, with that being said, I have worked with Ray or are on his app and know what I am talking about. Let's give him some appreciation in the comments!
