One of my favorite things about this job is getting a front row seat to so many different love stories.

Some couples meet when they're young. Some find each other later. Some arrive at their wedding day carrying decades of memories, experiences, family traditions, heartbreak, joy, and all the things that make us who we are.

Jessica and Troy's story has a lot of layers to it.

Their wedding day was intimate, meaningful, emotional at times, funny at others, and centered around the people who matter the most to them.

As I looked through these images, I kept coming back to one thought: throughout life, there is always room for more joy.

Jessica and Troy, thank you for trusting me with such an important day. It was an honor to capture this part of your story.

Photographs are for everyone.

Memories are for everyone.

Love is for everyone.

Over the last 8 years, I’ve had the honor of photographing an incredible number of couples and families, and one thing I’ve learned is that love looks beautiful on everyone.

Every couple deserves to hold hands without fear.
Every family deserves to celebrate their milestones.
Every person deserves to be seen, valued, and documented exactly as they are. Your story matters.

Marble + Wild Photography is a place where all are welcome, all are celebrated, and all are worthy of having their story told.

There are very few things I love more than getting to photograph my couples again after the wedding.

I photographed Nate and Kelsey's wedding almost four years ago, so when they reached out about documenting this next chapter, I was absolutely honored to be invited back into their lives.

We spent the evening wandering through the peony garden at the Arb, surrounded by some of the most beautiful blooms of the year. The thing I love about peonies is that they never last long enough. You wait all year for them, they put on an incredible show, and before you know it they're gone.

It felt like the perfect backdrop for this season of anticipation and excitement.

I loved getting to celebrate this sweet growing babe with them and document this little moment before everything changes in the very best way.

I cannot wait to meet the newest addition to their family and watch them become a family of three...plus Felix, of course 🐾🤍

"We're awkward."

I genuinely think at least 99% of my couples tell me this before their engagement session 😂

And every single time I smile, nod, and then spend the next hour proving them wrong.

Because...look at these two. Do they look awkward to you? Not even a little.

I had so much fun getting to spend the evening with Michelle and Alex, hearing about how they met, what life looks like for them, and how they like to spend their time together.

Also, I cannot thank them enough for making the drive for this session. Hours in the car and they still showed up ready to trust me, laugh with me, and wander around for awhile.

I am so excited for their wedding day!!!!

Six month sessions don’t get enough credit.

The squishy cheeks, the big smiles, the little personalities that are blooming, it’s SO fun!

And Lennon was an absolute JOY, just like I knew she would be.

Silly, happy, content. She spent the entire session taking everything in and showing off her adorable little personality.

She also came fully prepared with her own hype squad cheering her on every step of the way 💁🏼‍♀️ Which, if we're being honest, is exactly the kind of energy I’m looking for 😂🙌🏻

I had so much fun spending the evening with this sweet family and documenting this stage before it disappears into the next one.

FINALLY.

After what feels like a lifetime of rain, clouds, and mud, we got a beautiful night with actual sunshine and it was everything I have been missing this spring.

And, Hank absolutely made the most of it with us!

Also, if you've worked with me before, you know there is a reason I don't usually schedule back to back sessions 🫠🫠. I have absolutely no concept of time, I always run over, and I am, unfortunately, a professional yapper 😭😭😭

This session was next level yapping though.

Between the gorgeous weather, the beautiful location, and Hank being so much fun, I looked at the clock and realized I had kept poor Leah and Connor out WAY past bedtime on a school night 😬😂

I’m SO sorry.

But hopefully they’ll agree it was worth staying out just a little too late. 💚💚💚

GAHHHH. Three girls four and under 😂🤍

I cannot even explain the level of chaos that normally goes into a newborn session…but adding two busy big sisters into the mix somehow makes it both crazier and more fun.

I loved getting to document sweet baby Brynn and getting to step back into this season of life with them again.

I met this sweet family a couple years ago when they were freshly a family of four, and now here we are somehow documenting this beautiful family of FIVE 🥹

Newborn sessions with little kids are never perfectly calm or perfectly posed and honestly I don’t think they’re supposed to be. There’s always a little bit of chaos…someone needing a snack, someone running away from the camera, everyone talking over each other, lots of movement, lots of noise.

But underneath all of that is so much love and that’s my favorite thing.

Busy, loud, sweet, emotional, funny, and so full of life.

Welcome to the world, baby Brynn.

This was such a cool one to get to photograph.

This session was gifted to celebrate their parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and honestly…I know I say this all the time but I will keep saying it forever, photographs and documented memories are SUCH a meaningful gift.

Fifty years. Generations. People who love each other gathering in one place because someone built something worth celebrating.

I always think extended family sessions are special because they freeze something that changes so quickly. Kids grow up, families spread out, schedules get harder, people change…but these moments get to stay.

And beyond all of that…this family made my job ridiculously easy.

Everyone was such a good sport, the kids were incredible, and there was so much genuine joy and ease between everyone. We got to have a little fun together (hopefully they’d agree 😂), and I walked away thinking how lucky I am that people trust me with things like this.

What a beautiful family and what an incredible legacy to celebrate 🤍

Lauren + Brandon 💚 This one was fun because I already knew going in that it was going to be a good time.

And once again…this spring continues to prove me wrong because I looked at the forecast and thought we might be fighting weather AGAIN, but it ended up being a cloudy night that was honestly perfect.

I really loved getting to spend the evening with these two and actually get to know them a little more as a couple!

Cannot wait for their wedding. I feel like it’s going to be one of those really fun, relaxed wedding days that everyone has the best time at.

And yes, we did make time for a couple awkward photos and some fun ones because…why not?! 🤣🤣

Okay…this session felt impossible to make happen 🫠🤣

I swear this has been the wettest spring, and working around the weather feels impossible sometimes. Between weather and life, we kept missing each other. This session has been in the works since LAST year and it started to feel like maybe it just wasn’t ever going to happen.

But this weekend we looked at the forecast, accepted a little wind and a little chill for late May, and decided to go for it.

And I am SO glad we did.

We ended up with such a beautiful evening and I loved every second of hanging out with them. These kids are honestly just a joy to be around and one of my favorite things about this session was how much fun they all seem to have together. There was so much laughing and joking and just enjoying being together 🥹🥹

Thank you for sticking with me through all the reschedules and finally making this happen 🤍 I had the best time!
