Well… after 10 years, and thousands of pictures later I decided to change the name.

Backwoods Photography is now SM Photography.

I’ve been wanting to make this change for a while, and now feels like the perfect time. If you’re new here, “SM” stands for my name Sarah Michelle and it just feels like a better fit for where my business is headed.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported this little business over the years. Whether you’ve trusted me with your family, your senior, your event or you’ve simply liked, shared, or recommended my work, I appreciate every bit of it💗

Here’s to the next chapter. I’m excited to see where it takes us.
