Can I let you in on a little secret about family photos? 🤍 The magic usually happens when we stop watching the clock.
After almost 7 years of photography, one thing I hear often is, “Can we just do a quick session?” And listen, I GET IT! Especially when little ones are involved!
But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that time makes such a difference. Even 30 minutes is wonderful, but a full hour? It gives us room to breathe, laugh, play, and just be. The kids have time to warm up, parents feel less rushed, and those genuine little moments happen so much more naturally. 🤍
And yes, I know babies get tired, toddlers have meltdowns, and sometimes nobody wants to cooperate. I promise, I understand! But you’d be surprised what a little extra time and patience can do.
Please don’t misunderstand me. I love offering shorter sessions, too! This has never been solely about money for me. If it ever becomes that, I’ve lost sight of the gift God has given me and why I started doing this in the first place.
More than anything, I want you to trust me with your memories. I’ll guide you, laugh with your kiddos, talk with you, help you feel comfortable, and never expect you to know what to do in front of my camera. That’s my job, and it’s one I genuinely love.
So whether you book 30 minutes or a full hour, just know I’m in your corner. I’m not just there to take your pictures. I’m there to make the experience something you’ll enjoy, too. 🤍
