Morgan and her cowboy….🤎

Morgan brought me out to photograph her and her future hubby on land that has been in her family for generations. Behind them stands a rock house built in 1885, with the old dugout and the original well still resting quietly nearby …pieces of history that have witnessed more than a century of life, grit, and love.

Morgan is at least the sixth generation here, though she believes it may truly be eighth. When you stand on ground that has held your family for that long, you realize you aren’t just walking through history… you’re continuing it.

And now a new chapter is being written.

As beautiful as the land is, what moved me the most wasn’t the history in the soil …it was the love standing right in front of me. Watching my friend find someone whose heart truly meets hers is one of the most beautiful things I’ve witnessed.

The kind of love that is steady. Honest. The kind that understands you and holds space for exactly who you are.

The kind of love that feels like coming home.

And somehow, it feels perfectly fitting that a love like this would begin on land that has been holding Morgan’s story for generations.

Never settle for bare minimum, never settle for contentment and never settle for just good enough… wait for the one who sees every piece of you and decides to love you anyway.

Susannah made the most beautiful bride, and I had so much fun with Trey and his wild bunch of groomsmen. The laughs, the energy, the love—this day was one for the books.
